SummitClimb 2021 Xmas
Our SummitClimb team spent a joyful holiday season skiing in the Pyrenees. At the same time, the Christmas period marked the start of our mountain season in Africa. It looks promising that we will be able to continue running many of our trekking tours and expeditions.
Since the end of our Nepal season with the Ama Dablam Summit, this is actually our first update. In the near future, we will likely not be able to report as extensively as usual. Unfortunately, COVID-related bureaucracy — including entry regulations, staffing and hygiene requirements, a shortage of flight connections combined with an excess of flight and destination changes — has been consuming a great deal of our time. We are working hard to get these challenges under control. As a result, our updates will be shorter for now.
Currently in Africa:
- Meru & Kilimanjaro: Congratulations on the first summit success on December 24th with a 100% summit rate! We wish the team continued luck and success for the ascent of Kili.
- Mount Kenya & Safari: The team is en route to Nairobi (flight December 27th / arrival December 28th). Karibu sana, Kenya!
More tours will be starting soon: trekking expeditions to Aconcagua, our great East Africa mountain safari, as well as additional tours to Mount Kenya and Kilimanjaro. Our teams in Argentina, Kenya, and Tanzania are looking forward to the upcoming adventures.
We hope you are all enjoying a wonderful holiday season filled with peace and joy.
We wish you a Merry Christmas!
