SummitClimb 2022 in Pakistan
Our 2022 Karakoram expeditions are underway. Our team consists of:

Over the past few days, we have traveled from Islamabad via Naran (2,700 m) to Skardu. From there, we spent two days and nights on the Deosai Plateau at around 4,000 meters to acclimatize. You can find photos and stories from our journey on Instagram: SummitClimb. We will continue to post short updates and pictures there whenever we have a stable internet connection.
In the coming days, we will travel via Askole to begin the Baltoro Glacier trek, continuing on toward the base camps of Broad Peak and K2 (Trek: more about the K2 Trek). The forecast predicts highly unstable weather over the next few days, with unusually extreme cold for this time of year.
