Mera Peak Summit

Congratulations to our outstanding team Nawang, Pemba, Dilif and Linus on their successful ascent of Mera Peak (6,500 m).

Mera Peak is considered one of the most spectacular viewpoint mountains in the world. From its summit, climbers are rewarded with a breathtaking panorama of five of the planet’s highest giants: Cho Oyu, Mount Everest, Lhotse (visible in the background of the title photo), Makalu, and Kangchenjunga. Few summits offer such an impressive 8000-meter skyline in every direction — a truly unforgettable Himalayan experience.

Karakoram focus: While in 2021 we were strongly represented on Nepal’s highest peaks, our 2022 expedition season on the 8000ers is focused on the Karakoram in Pakistan: Gasherbrum I, Gasherbrum II, Broad Peak, and K2.
