Review 2024 Start 2025
A Glimpse of the Past Five Years in the Mountains
As we start 2025, alongside our tours to Antarctica and South America, including expeditions to Aconcagua, one of the Seven Summits, we've been heavily involved in launching our new website. Now, our blog is back, and in this post, we’d like to give you a quick overview of the last five years in the mountains:
2020: After the COVID-19 pandemic, we resumed our tours on Kilimanjaro and successfully conducted several first ascents of 5,000m and 6,000m peaks in Pakistan, the only country still open for high-altitude mountaineering.
2021 was a year of major achievements: On Mount Everest, all participants reached the summit during both a classic 60-day expedition and a quick ascent (heli-in/out in just 5 days). In the summer, we were active in Central Asia at Pik Lenin and Khan Tengri, leading five groups to the summit of Elbrus. Our tours to the highest peaks in Africa and Ecuador also went smoothly.
2022: We embarked on expeditions to Broad Peak, Gasherbrum I & II, and K2 in the Karakoram. Our tours to Kilimanjaro and Mount Kenya in Africa became increasingly popular, and for the start of 2023, we celebrated in Antarctica, climbing Mount Vinson, Mount Shinn, and taking part in additional tours. We also had a very successful season with three groups summiting Aconcagua, marking the end of 2022.
2023 & 2024: We continued to run large-scale expeditions in Central Asia, particularly at Pik Lenin and Khan Tengri, as well as in the Tajik Pamirs. In Nepal, we explored Manaslu, Ama Dablam, and Baruntse. Our work in the Karakoram continued at Broad Peak and through new explorations with additional first ascents. Tours in South America and Africa remained in high demand, with trekking and mountaineering expeditions to iconic peaks like Alpamayo in Peru, Kilimanjaro, and the Rwenzori Mountains.
Due to the many changes over the past months, we unfortunately haven’t been able to regularly update our blog. Ultimately, being on the move is more important, and we look forward to welcoming you on your next adventure with SummitClimb.
