Arnold Coster has led 22 expeditions to Mount Everest - equally divided between the North and South sides - giving him an unmatched understanding of both routes. With over two decades of experience and nearly 100 Himalayan expeditions, Arnold is among the most experienced leaders on the mountain. Born in 1976 in the Netherlands, he first discovered his passion for climbing in the Alps before moving to Nepal in 2003 to climb Manaslu. In 2004, he summited Mount Everest for the first time, together with Felix Berg, CEO of SummitClimb Europe. Since then, he has climbed five of the 8,000-meter peaks and stood on top of Everest five times. His guiding philosophy centers on safety, quality, enjoyment, and success.
