For over 20 years, we have found, trained, and further developed a team of experts for your mountain tours. Felix Berg is our ace in Africa. While studying in Nairobi, Kenya’s capital, from 2002 to 2003, Felix not only got to know the country and its people but also those capable of reliably organizing trips and safaris. He combines the experience and expertise of professional mountaineering on 8,000-meter peaks with a passion for Africa’s mountains.
Duncan Nderitu serves as our logistics manager on Mount Kenya, where he has already summited the highest points (Nelion/Batian) over a hundred times. On Kilimanjaro, we have our own team, but Duncan accompanies many of our combination tours to Africa’s highest point.
For the Rwenzori and Uganda, Bonifence—a former ranger on the mountain and now director of the Uganda Tourism Union—takes charge. Elvira Wolfer, a Swiss national who discovered her love for Africa, emigrated to Nairobi, and took over a travel agency there, keeps everything in order and organizes our safaris.
In North Africa, we collaborate with a classic travel agency, and Felix has personally been involved in several big wall first ascents.
For all group tours, we guarantee departure with one of our local mountain guides for a minimum of two participants. For groups of 8 to 14, one of our European experts will additionally take the lead.
