Khosar Gang (6k) Prep Climb

Khosar Gang is the highest mountain in the Shigar Valley. Its base camp, located at an altitude of 3,800 meters, is easily accessible from Skardu. Hence, we can ideally acclimatize on Khosar Gang and then have a full rest in Skardu before moving on to higher goals.

Itinerary - 7 Days from/to Skardu

Day 1: Drive to Sildi Village (approx. 2 hours), then trek for 3–4 hours to Base Camp at 3,800 m.
Days 2–6: Five days allocated for the climb — establish High Camp at 4,500 m, possibly a second higher camp, and attempt the summit at 6,200 m.
Day 7: Trek back to Sildi Village and drive to Skardu.

Transportation:
  • Airport pick and drop at Islamabad and Skardu

  • Porters to base camp and back to Sildi incl. one personal porter for your gear (max. 20kg)
  • High Altitude Porter (HAP) for group gear during climbing till the last camp
