Serengeti Safari - Experience

instead of a return flight to Kilimanjaro, we go on this great safari:

• Day 1: Tarangire National Park
  Early morning departure from Moshi/Arusha to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2h). Along the Tarangire River you can see antelopes, giraffes, buffalos, zebras, leopards, crocodiles and many colorful birds. The national park is famous for its elephants. Tarangire Safari Lodge (B&B)
• Day 2: Drive to the Serengeti
  Varied drive to the Serengeti National Park. Check-in at Naabi Gate we have time in the afternoon for a classic wildlife safari. Wildlife camp or lodge (bed & breakfast)
• Day 3: Serengeti National Park
  The Serengeti forms with the Masai Mara a gigantic ecosystem, the superlative for safari guests. Here the famous wildebeest migration takes place. The wildebeest are followed by zebra and buffalo. With a bit of luck we will see cheetahs and lions on the prowl. We have the whole day to explore the incredible expanse of the Savana and search for animals. Wildlife camp or lodge (bed & breakfast).
• Day 4: Serengeti National Park - Oldupai Gorge - Ngorongoro
  In the morning we start with a safari game drive. Then we visit Oldupai Gorge and Leki excavation site. In the afternoon, the drive takes us to the rim of Ngorongoro Crater where we stay overnight (lodge safari, B&B).
• Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater drive
  The last highlight on the last day, the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, UNESCO World Heritage Site. The whole morning we drive through the crater, in which with enormous animal density incredibly many observations are possible. In the afternoon we return to Arusha. Hotel (B&B).
• Day 6 - Last day / Kilimanjaro: Flight home (would otherwise be the last day of the Kilimanjaro program).
