Mount Everest Northcol - Trek & Expedition
(11.04.2026 - 03.05.2026)
7k-challenge on Everest: The high plateau of Tibet stretches far up, so that from the upper base camp (6,300m) on Mount Everest the north saddle can be reached in a climb of just 700 m / 2,300 ft - climb in one day. In 1921, participants of the Royal Geographical Society reached the North Col for the first time - among them George Mallory, who disappeared three years later during the ascent of Mount Everest for unknown reasons. Faraway Tibet seems mystical, but in the meantime the infrastructure has been developed by China to a comfortable standard. With a challenging glacier trekking and some basic technical knowledge you can stand over 7,000 meters, and this on the slopes of Mount Everest.
